Joins us at a Community Rally to raise fund for the Mattapan Technology Learning Center, on August 22 from 4:30pm – 8:30pm at the St. Paul Victory Christian Assembly located at 870 Cummins Highway in Mattapan. Tickets are $15 each and children are free.

The Mattapan/ Greater Boston Technology Learning Center (MTLC) is Boston’s only free adult vocational school and one of the state’s most vibrant citizen’s initiatives.  This is due to the tireless effort of a few dedicated individuals and the extraordinary generosity of friends like you.

During the past 4 years, we have strived to sustain our educational programs and successfully trained nearly 4,000 students through our many different courses: PC Repair, Network, Web Design, MS Office Specialist, Database Management, ESL, Citizenship and GED preparation.  Today, we continue to work diligently to meet out primary objectives consisting of empowering the men and women in the communities of Greater Boston by providing them with the job skills necessary to achieve their dream and allow businesses the opportunity to find the skilled workers needed to succeed.

The MTLC has a very diverse student body composed of people from 14 different ethnic backgrounds and ages varying from 18 to 60+ years old.  Although we have a very moderate budget, our student’s contribution is only 50% of it.  With all this in mind, it should become evident that with no federal, state and local assistance whatsoever, the MTLC is dependent solely upon your generous contributions to maintain its mission.

It is my hope that you will consider making a generous contribution to our first annual fundraising event, making it possible for the school to continue its educational and charitable goal, especially for those most in need.
