Welcome to the Haiti's Children Relief Fund, Inc.

Our mission is to promote a better quality of life for the deprived children of Haiti by providing nutritional, health and educational assistance.

Our short-term objectives include raising funds to assist poor families in Haiti with clothing, books and other school materials for the start of school in September; and purchasing desks, chairs and black boards for selected schools based on their needs.

Our Long-Term Objectives - Establishing a health and nutrition program (specifically focusing on 0 to 10 years of age), including promoting breastfeeding, immunization, and providing school lunches.

Establishing adolescent and youth programs that will focus on preventive health, including HIV/AIDS prevention and control. Develop basic education and early childhood care and development programs for the 0 to 6 age group, with an emphasis on low-cost models to serve the poor and community-managed initiatives.

Building schools, with an emphasis on improving teaching quality and providing access to health care services.  HIV/AIDS will be central to curriculum development and teacher training.

Improving access to schools throughout the countryside, and providing transportation to students in areas where it is impossible to build a school.

Instituting child protection programs for abandoned children, child servants, orphans, minors, and social integration of those suffering exclusion, exploitation, violence and abuse. It will focus on strengthening the capacity of institutions to plan, manage, monitor and evaluate, as well as the capacity of families and communities to   respect and protect rights.
